A2 Music Video: Filming tomorrow!

We are going to film with Jake tomorrow, we want a lot more boyfriend clips with him. So we have a more variety of footage to use in our music video. We are hoping to have a good hour of shooting with him.

A2 Music Video Filming Part 2

Today I would say filming went OK. It didn't go badly but it didn't go great. We got some footage that we can use but not that much to be honest. We went to a range of locations with Jake. We went to the pond near school, the small bridge there and on the cycle track. We shot various amounts of footage in these places. First of all we tried to film the bit where Jake gets run over, this idea didn't really work because we didn't have Simone to help us shoot this. So we moved on along the underpass and filmed a bit where I look once and Jake is there and I look again and Jakes appears. This went OK but we felt we needed a range of locations to film. We also needed to do it quick because the battery in the camera ran out very quickly. We then went to a little bridge by the pond near our school. We filmed a bit where the song goes a lot slower. I sang to Jake at this point because it would add more of an affect to the video. It did take a few tries however because I was giggling too much and Jake was making me laugh. We did get some good footage of this and a good high angle shot was used. We then stopped shooting because it became too cold and Lysette, Jake and I got very cold to do anything else outside. So we thought that the next time we film, we will maybe film inside.

A2 Music Video: Preparing for filming tomorrow

Today I wanted to make sure Jake was still alright to film tomorrow so I texted him and he said he was fine with it. We will be filming during the two hours of media tomorrow. Most of the footage we film will be of Jake but we want more of me singing so hopefully we get a lot of both tomorrow. With the two hour we have hopefully we get a lot of it done. We didn't really need to think a lot about the costume of Jake and myself. This is because it will be mostly narrative clips and not performance clips so we didn't need to think alot about the clothes we were going to wear. I just asked Jake not to wear anything to smart. This is because normally Jake is quite smart for Sixth Form but we didn't want his character to be too nerdy so we asked him to dress quite casual for tomorrow. I will be wearing a demin dress and black leggings because it is simple and clasy so it is not too out there and loud. We decided I was not going to wear the same outfit as I did for the first part of filming because the next clips we are going to film are before my boyfriend dies in an accident. The clips of me singing the in the other outfit are after he has died. It will look silly if I am just in the one outfit the whole way through. It wouldn't look like we have thought it through enough. We are hopefully going to shoot more footage of me singing tomorrow because some of the other footage we shot we couldn't use because the tripod was in the way of some of the shots.

A2 Music Video: Discussion For What We May Be Filming

I was talking to my sister and we have a lot more ideas of what to film and where for our music video. We want to film more footage of me singing in different places. This will be around school because we want to film some of the footage around the school; like Netwell Pond and the area by there. This is so it will give us a lot of locations for our video so it isn't so boring being in just one place. Also if we filmed it during school time we will not be wasting time because we have been giving this time to film and edit. We are also taking the camera home to film whenever we can. We can not afford to waste any time. We are also going to be filming Jake. We have already discussed that he may be getting run over by Simone in his car. We are sure that Jake is unfortunately going to die in the music video because it is one of our main themes for the video. We will be filming Jake being my boyfriend, being thre when he isn't supposed to because he is dead (being everywhere like the song) and we will discuss other ideas before we start filming the video.

A2 Music Video: Possible New Actor and Idea

We had an idea of how Jake might die in our music video. We know he is going to die tragically in our music video because is it one of our main themes of the video. We just needed to figure out how he is going to do die. We were thinking of how he could die and who would be respnsible for it. The idea that kept cropping up in our discussion was; Jake being killed in a car accident. We decided this is how he was going to die. So we just needed to figure out who was going to kill him and where. When we were thinking of who would kill Jake we obviously knew they needed to know how to drive a car. The firast person we thought of was Simone. Simone is in our year; year 13. We asked him and he is happy to take part in our music video as the part of the driver. We have not yet discussed when we are going to film with him but we will soon. We were thinking that the best place for filming the car scene would be in front of the school because then we didn't have to go far out of the school site. This is because we do not have enough time to walk/drive anywhere else because we all have lessons throught everyday at school during the week.

A2 Music Video: Editing Part 2

Today we contiued with the editing we started yesterday. Today was all about putting the clips in order because we had a good look at all the clips yesterday so we knew what order to place the clips in. We did some editing together first of all putting clips into order and cutting some clips down, getting rid of the footage we can not use. Then after that I needed to go and speak to my tutor for about 20 minutes, during this Lysette did a lot of the editing. We added in the song yesterday as well so we made sure the miming was in time with the song. After I came back Lysette had to go and do the same thing so I did about 20 minutes of editing as well. When I came back, Lysette told me that it went a bit wrong and some of the timing was a bit off. So what I did when I was editing on my own was; I completed scrapped the editing we had already done and started fresh. So we have different clips in parts of the song that are done. One of the main reasons for this is because we need to film a lot more, which we are doing on Monday. We are next going to edit next Thursday. This is when we hopefully have all of our filming done; involving the miming parts and the boyfriend clips. The next time we edit we will be finishing it off by adding in different transitions and effects and credits as well. We will have a good 2 hours to do this but if we are not able to finish we will ask to use the Laptop throughout the day on Friday so we can get the editing done.

A2 Music Video: Editing Part 1

Today we started the editing of the footage we have already shot of our music video. We didn't do a lot of editing during this lesson because it did take a long time for the footage to import from the camera to the laptop. When it finally did import we were just looking over the clips that we already have and we have got a lot of footage that we can use. Along with this we have got a lot of footage that we can not use like the clips when I am laughing and forget the words. We also noticed in a few of the shots; not many that the tripod was in the way. When we were filming we forgot to move it out of the way. We didn't even notice it was there untill we started this editing. Next time we film, we will make sure that we hide the tripod if we do not use it. We tried to put the clips in to order but we have a lot of three minute clips so we need to cut them down when we next edit. We couldn't do it this lesson because we didn't have enough time. We are editing again tomorrow so hopefully we get more done tomorrow.

A2 Music Video: First day of filming

We decided that today would be the day that we would film for our music video. This is because the weather was very gloomy and there a lot of fog today so this would give the atmosphere more an effect. When we first started filming we used the tripod and it was me singing to the camera in front of a lot of trees and the fog. Then we became a bit more creative and more confident. Lysette took the camera of the tripod and started using different shots like; high angle shots, low angle shots, birds eye view shots, close-ups, over the shoulder shots and head shots. We used a variety of these shots when we were filming. We also used a panning shot where we filming me singing; where Lysette walked in a circle filming me. We filmed a lot of footage today so we know we have got a lot of film we can use. We were out for a good two hours filming today. Although when we film another day I would like a good whole day to film so we can get as much done as possible. Filming went very well and we are going to film with Jake for the boyfriend clips hopefully sometime next week.

A2 Music Video: Costume

When looking at the costume we didn't want to refer to Michelle Branch's style because it is too depressing and black. We wanted our artist (me) to have a rocker/indie look but not look gothic because a lot of people get these confused with each other. We were looking through our wardrobe and came across these and made some conclusions about them.

Skinny Blue Jeans:

We saw this pair of skinny blue jeans and thought they would go with therocker/indie look. Making ME look like a real fashion icon and a real artist. When you see a lot of artists in this genre they are often wearing skinny jeans because they express a punk look that is not too dressed up and casual.

Denim Waist Coat:


Focusing on the denim waistcoat, we wanted ME to look quite casual yet stylish as well because all of the female artists are looking very stylish these day in they're music videos. This isn't too out there, we havent dressed our artist up ina big pink dress or blace lace clothes. We have made our artist look very stylish and classy.





Muli-coloured jumper:


When we was looking through our wardrobe we came accross this jumper. We thought with the waist coat it would look very classy and quite indie witha pair of jeans. Although in the music video is in fact quite sad, we wanted to make her outfit quite happy like this colourful jumper. This is because we want her to look like she loves seeing the boy she misses and is happy this way.



Coat:


Along with the jeans, waistcoat and jumper we thought that the outfit needed a coat. One because it will be freezing outside and Two because the outfit needed something to make it look a bit more punky like the genre of song we have chosen.







Boots:

At first; we couldn't decide on shoes. Then we saw these boots. They are muddy, filthy and just wrecked. We thought this would be a nice touch because it looks like the artist has been looking everywhere in the mud for the boy she sings about in the song. She sees him everywhere in her dreams because he is really dead in real life and she loves seeing him even though he is only in her dreams, although she does look for him outside of her dreams.

A2 Music Video: Michelle Branch's Style

The original artist that sings the song that we are creating our own music video for is; Michelle Branch. I would describe this song as quite Indie/Pop and maybe soft rock. This will be incorporated in Michelle's individual style. As you can tell from her style, Michelle is quite punky. Although we are not incorporating her colour of style which is mostly black, we are incorporating her make up like Kelly Clarkson. We are also incorporating how she acts and mimes in her music video, her emotion and her overall person.

A2 Music Video: 'Everywhere' Actors

At the moment we have two definite actors. We have an idea that may involve one more actor but we need to discuss that in more detail.

The first actress that will be in our music video will be myself. We chose myself to be in our music video because it is convenient for us. This is because if we have someone from the group singing, we can trust each other to take the music video seriously and take time to prepare and film the video.

The other actor is Jake who will be playing the part of my boyfriend. We chose Jake for our video because for our original idea he was the only one who took it seriously. Jake is also taking Drama at A level and has helped us in the past for our practise music video and he was very good and very helpful.

A2 Music Video: Example Artists That We Want to Model Our Singer After

When looking at the style and the all round persona of the artist, we have chosen to look at the style of these four artists particularly. The artist on the left is Demi Lovato. Even though in this picture she looks quite peaceful, Demi is quite a punk pop chick. In this picure I thought she looked quite indie, this is the style that I want our artist to portray along with POP as well.

This artist is Selena Gomez.

We think she has a punk rock edge that we want to incorporate into our artists style. As you can see she is also quite girly as well, we also want to incorporate this into our artist too.

The artist above is Sara Barielles, Sara was part of our list of song choices. Her style of song is like the song we have chosen. Her style is like Demi's; it's Indie. This is why we want to try and incorporate her style.

This artist is Kelly Clarkson, Kelly's style of music is very punk/pop. Her style is a reflection of her music; it is very punky. Her make up is quite dark like in the picture so we want to try and make our artist's make up like this. We also want to try and use Kelly's hairstyle making it quite messy, showing a punky look.

So overall we are looking for quite a casual Indie/Rock style for clothes but a punky look for the make-up and hair. This is because it is a reflection of the indie/pop song we are doing the music video for.

A2 Music Video:Audience Profile for Michelle Branch's: Everywhere

Age: For this music video and song we wanted to know who the audience watching and listening to it would be. This is so would could incorporate they're thoughts and interests into the music video. We thught that the age of people watching our music video would be early teens. This song is soft punk and pop, with also an indie edge. We thought that 12-15 year olds will just be getting into music at this time and will be looking at which genre to listen to and which suits them. These are also the adoslescent years for the teens, this song expresses a bit of rebelience with the soft punk that the teens will listen to when going through the stages of these years.


Gender: The gender
This song is by a female artist singing about a boy. So it is more likely that the audience gender would be females. This song will relate to them is their having their first crush which they will be because the age of this video/song is 12-15 year olds.

Social Class:
There isn't really a social class with teenagers. They are all the same class, going through the same things. They will be at school and living with their parents.

Interests/Hobbies:
The interests of these teenage girls would probably be; music and boys. Not just these, there will be a lot more interests as well. Their hobbies may consist of being a hopeful musician themselves.

A2 Music Video: Idea: Everywhere

Our idea for the music is based around the sound, not really the narrative of the lyrics because they don't really narrate anything. They just have a basis idea about a girl who's in love witha boy who only exists in her dreams, not in real life. We are kind of using this idea. We are just making it so that the singer did have a boyfriend but he died in a car accident which will be at the start of the music video. It is our idea that she is singing about; even though he is dead, she sees him everywhere in her dreams and she loves seeing him again but wants him to exist out of her dreams as well. Most of the singing parts of the song will be on the field near where my sister and I live. We hope it will be quite foggy that day as well because it will add more an atmosphere to the music video.

We want to pay attention to the lyrics because we want our music video to be a half performance music video and a half narrative music video. This is because we want to show a range of skills we are going to use involving both of the strategies of filming. A2 Music Video: Idea from an Original Music Video

In Paramore's; 'Decode' music video for the film Twilight. They film the singer in the woods just singing, they use a lot of other scenes and effects but we got our idea of just the singer singing in a field from this. When thinking of new song choices and ideas, we wanted a female artist and a song that would suit one of us ( myself or Lysette.) We decided to change our whole idea because we wanted to just use us two as actresses because we released from our other idea that we can only rely on each other. This meant we needed to think of a song for the music video, this means we just want a song by a female artist. We chose against this song because we thought that we could never live up to the video. Everyone knows and loves the video. We thought we couldn't make it as good and as well done as it so we chose not to do it. We didn't want to do it and have finished it knowing we are going to be compared to the original video and it not being as good. So we wanted to do a song we know we can do and won't be such a big production

We thought of this particular song because it is very easy and simple to do. This song is about a girl breaking up with her boyfriend because she doesn't like him anymore. We didn't want to aim for something too easy and boring. We wanted to challenge ourselves. So we decided against this idea.

We thought of this song after we decided against Kate Nash. This is because although they are quite similar, we liked the song and the overall story a lot better. The song is about a girl thinking she has fallen for a boy. So we thought this would be quite easy to do again but whats different about this song so Kate Nashes is; we had more of a plan and more ideas for it. So it wouldn't be as boring. In the end we decided that this song was again; too boring. We wanted to do something with a bit more rythym and some you could tap your foot to.

This song is on our list because it is big at the moment and it is fresh in our minds so we know all of the lyrics, we know what the song is about and we know the music video. We like song because it's quite fast and isn't slow like a lot of our other choices. So we thought we could handle doing this song. Then we began to think about it properly and almost just after we chose it said that it was too fast and too much of a big song and production to film with just one camera and a tripod. We thought we were being a bit over ambitious.

With this song, we decided it would be our final music video song choice. We had this decided for about a week. We had a set idea on it aswell. The song is about a girl saying that her boyfriend tells her what to do, what she should wear and she's fed up of it. She's basically saying; Who died and made you king? We had an idea of doing a bit of narrative for the music video but also a lot of singing as well because we want the girl to be singing in it as well.

We looked at all of these songs and decided that, still none of them appealed to us so we were going to make a new list of female artists to choose from.

A2 Music Video: Filming!

Today was the day we planned to film. We only managed to film a bit. This is because the weather was VERY bad. It was raining the whole time and it was too dark to even see the boys. The boys were not taking the filming seriously either. So after we got home from filming we were thinking of changing our whole idea. We were going to discuss it in more detail later on.

A2 Music Video: Preparation

For filming the music video, I wanted to check what time we were filming. I posted on my sisters Facebook asking her when we were going to film tomorrow. I received quite a quick response.

A2 Media - Conversation Joe's Storyline?

My sister and I were having a conversation about what Joe's storyline is going to be in the music video. We decided that he was going to comfort a girl who has received some bad new from the hospital. We don't really know what the bad new is because we've just got an idea of the camera showing the hospital, the sad girl and Joe helping the girl. It won't be a very long storyline because the clip doesn't need to be that long because we already have a main storyline for Jake because he has his own verse in the song. This is just an idea that we have had, we don't know whether we are actually going to use it yet.

A2 Music Video: Preparation MASKS!

Today we went into to Pound Land to have a look for cheap masks for the boys to wear in the music video. We saw these cute masks. We bought four of these masks because there are four super hero boys in our music video. Although they aren't boys masks; they are for girls. We just thought they are cheap because they are only a pound each and it will be easy to make them a bit more masculine. What Lysette and I are thinking of doing is; cutting of the holding stick, removing the feather, putting some elastic through them and turning them the other way so there is no glitter on the front so they won't look so feminine. We are hoping to do this tonight ready for filming tomorrow. It won't take us very long get these done hopefully. So we have our main costume sorted, the boys are just wearing they're own casual clothes so the music video won't look so overdone and cheesy.

We already decided that we were going to film with the boys straight after school on Thursday. So I wanted to keep checking they were OK with it still. So I posted on they're facebook's, so they would reply to me to make sure filming was still on.

A2 Music Video: Preparation

At school today; we decided we were going to do some filming for the music video after school, around our area where we live. We decided with the boys, that we would film on Thursday because this is the day where that they are all available to film. All four of them are coming over to be in our music video straight after school.

A2 Music Video: Possible Actors

We haven't got the extra girls yet for the music video, we thought that us two (my sister and I) would just be the boys girlfriends in the music video. This would make it a lot easier because we wouldn't have to find time where everyone was available to film. If we use us in it we know we will be able to do it so it's just much more achievable this way.

A2 Music Video: Preparation

To make the music video look much more real, we wanted to give all the boys a copy of the lyrics and tell them which parts they will be miming to, so they know what they are singing and when; When it comes to filming it. Jake and Chad both said they will sing a verse each for us, so we had highlighted the bits they are singing and hopefully they will learn it for next week. Even though some of the music video doesn't involve miming, we want all the boys to know the song fully just incase we can't achieve what we want to with the narrative clips.

A2 Music Video: Ideas: Jakes Storyline

When looking at the lyrics, we were deciding the storylines of the boys in the boybands. We decided that because there are four of the boys, there would be four seperate storylines.

We've only come up with one storyline so far:

Jake Storyline 1: Because Jake is taking A Level Drama, we decided to give him the end storyline to give it a good ending. This scene is going to be of a boy and girl fighting and the girl gets upset and walks out, then her boyfriend goes after her angrily. Jake as a normal boy tries to help. Then a close-up sees Jake put his mask on and helps the girl our of the situation. Taking her away from her boyfriend. We are going to shoot the scene in the hallway of the sixth form block. Then a tracking shot follows the girl out of the school, then an over the shoulder shot sees the angry boyfriend behind her. Then Jake will try and help the girl out and boyfriend dismisses him. Using a close-up on Jake he will look very worried and pull out a mask and become a superhero. Then the camera will run into jake showing the emotion on his face. Then you see Jake hold out his hand and a birds eye view shot and a close-up will show the hand. Then you will see a close-up of the girls face deciding whether to take his hand or not. Then there will be a close-up of the girl taking Jakes hand.

A2 Music Video: Audience Profile

When looking at the song we have chosen; Personal Soldier by The Wanted we looked at what the audience profile would be for people who listen to the song and watch the music video. In terms of gender; the song is sung by boys and we are having a boyband of 4 boys in the music video so girls will definetly be the ones interested in this video and song, not particularly boys. When it comes to age; we thought about the genre of the song which is POP. If you think about it a lot of younger girls like the POP culture and boybands. Young teenagers like boybands because they like having people to idlelise especially a bit of 'eye candy' on they're walls. So I would place the age between 12-16. This is because they're in the earlier stages of being a teenager. In terms of social class; they will just be like anyone, just average. They don't need lots of money and a big background to like this song and the music video. They are teenage girls who go to school, go shopping and like putting posters of boys on they're walls. These are they're interests which go with the song and the video.

A2 Music Video: Preparation

When preparing to do the music video, we need our actors to learn the song that they have to mime to. It will be difficult for them to learn it, so I posted the youtube video of the song with lyrics all they're facebook walls. I only posted it on three of they're walls because Jake doesn't really go on facebook, so I am going to give him the lyrics and song tomorrow to learn. We have asked them to learn the lyrics and song for next week and they are doing a good job so far.

When it comes to discussing ideas, I am in a group with my sister so we discuss ideas at home all the time about this music video. So I don't really have any evidence on things like facebook that we have been talking. This is because I live with her so I am just going to blog every time we have a conversation involving ideas for the music video.
We have been discussing ideas and we thought of having the different boys in the boyband saving different people, we were thinking girls mostly. Lysette came up with the idea of a girlfriend and a boyfriend having an argument and the girl walking away upset, ten the super hero trys to help but just as himself. Then things get messy and he puts his mask on. This is just one idea that we have discussed.

A2 Media - Costumes

When thinking about the costumes of the boyband we knew they were being superheroes. So we wanted to get 4 plain black masks for them to wear to make them look quite classy but like a super hero at the same time. We wanted it to be simple. So during our free period, we walked to the town with two of the actors we have chosen; Chad and Joe and looked for masks. We went in the party shop, Wilkinsons, Poundland, Tesco, Claires Assecories and Asda and had no luck. Well there were a few in The party shop but nothing we really liked the look of. Then when we got home and asked our dad if there was anywhere that would sell cheap black masks, he suggested Mr Savers. We will try and have a look there during the week. In terms of other costume parts, we were thinking of getting all the boys to wear capes but nothing is certain yet.

A2 Media - Actors

For the music video we have found our actors! We decided to make the video a boyband, so we decided to look for four boys who would help us out with doing this. The boys that will be in our boyband are; Joe Mortimer, Matt Patterson, Jake Robinson and Chad England. I will be posting photos of them on here soon. They will be miming the song for us, acting out scenes and maybe even doing a little bit of dancing. For the actresses they have to be saving in the music video; we will be playing two of those parts. We just need to find two other girls and a couple of extras that will help us.

This image is actually of The Wanted themselves, this is the boyband who actually sing; Personal Soldier. We want to stick with they're style because it's casual and we want them to remain like this. Although we are only using four people instead of five because we could only find four people and also because we thought the four boys we already have go quite well as a group already without another person.

We want to incorporate the style of these bands, we don't want to dress our boyband up too much. We want to keep the boys quite natural and simple involving them all around, they're style and the way they mime. Just like these bands they won't do anything overly outragious and that stands out too much. We want to keep them quite classy and keep the natural look.

So we have our Song: Personal Soldier by The Wanted. The genre we have already decided is POP. We also have idea of Super Heros saving people in our music video. Our main idea is about; them being super heroes saving the girls they care for.

We want to keep the lyrics because we want the boys in our music video to know most of them this is because the music video is going to be half performance video and half narrative. This is because we want to show a range of skills we can use and also we want to see the singers and also to see different scenes in the video because then we can see what the song is about rather than it being boring with just singers. We want a mix. We also want the lyrics by us because even though we aren't basing our whole music video around the lyrics. A2 Coursework Song Choices

When we came back from half term. We were given the task of choosing a song for our music video we are going to create. So My group; which is me and my sister (Lysette) looked over a number of songs we could choose. But we decided on one thing for definate; the genre. We love the genre; POP. So we knew we were going to choose a pop song for this music video task. We knew the video was going to look quite pop, but not your typical pop music video. We were going to try and challenge a few of the typical ideas. For our song we had a range of ideas of song choices, along with that a list of reasons why we couldn't do those particular ones. We had a list of 10 song choices that we gave ourselves that we were going to decide on.

When we were going through ideas, I really wanted to do this song because I love it and the video aswell. We decided on this song for a while, then changed our minds. This song is kind of classic pop and counrty at the same time. We love the genre pop so this is why we wanted to choose this song. In the music video; it is about a nerdy girl telling the boy she loves that she is better for him than his over obsessed girlfriend. So we wanted to base the song around the original video. We chose against this song because we thought that we could never live up to the video. Everyone knows and loves the video. We thought we couldn't make it as good and as well done as it so we chose not to do it. We didn't want to do it and have finished it knowing we are going to be compared to the original video and it not being as good. So we wanted to do a song we know we can do and won't be such a big production

We thought of this particular song because it is very easy and simple to do. This song is about a girl breaking up with her boyfriend because she doesn't like him anymore. We thought it would be quite simple to do because it would just be a girl singing and acting like she hates her boyfriend. So we liked this choice. Untill we began to deeply think about it. We didn't want to aim for something too easy and boring. We wanted to challenge ourselves. So we decided against this idea.

We thought of this song after we decided against Kate Nash. This is because although they are quite similar, we liked the song and the overall story a lot better. The song is about a girl thinking she has fallen for a boy. So we thought this would be quite easy to do again but whats different about this song so Kate Nashes is; we had more of a plan and more ideas for it. So it wouldn't be as boring. In the end we decided that this song was again; too boring. We wanted to do something with a bit more rythym and some you could tap your foot to.

This song is on our list because it is big at the moment and it is fresh in our minds so we know all of the lyrics, we know what the song is about and we know the music video. We like song because it's quite fast and isn't slow like a lot of our other choices. So we thought we could handle doing this song. Then we began to think about it properly and almost just after we chose it said that it was too fast and too much of a big song and production to film with just one camera and a tripod. We thought we were being a bit over ambitious.

After looking at a lot of female artists, we thought we would be better of doing a music video with a male artist because all of our ideas that involved female artists weren't working out. So we thought of choosing a boyband song. So we thought about doing a Twenty Twenty song who are a boyband from London. We thought about doing they're song; Worlds Apart. This song is about a boy trying to make it work with a girl but it keeps going wrong and somehow they're worlds apart. We really like they're music video because it is about superheros having girlfriends and they get kidnapped by they're enemy so they have to same them. We decided against this video because we didn't think we could get three boys singing this song because knowone has really heard it before and it will be hard for them to learn a new song compelety. Also because there isn't really any boys we know that we do this. Although we decided against this song. We are going to incoporate the music video's Super Hero idea in our music video.

Lysette and I absoloutely love this song. So this is the reason we considered this song. This song is in the Disney Channel Musical; Camp Rock 2. In the movie Nick Jonas sings a song called Introducing me. It's about him telling this girl everything she needs to know about him because she feels like he won't let her know him enough. We just thought of the song and how much we liked it. So it got in the way of thinking of ideas and plans for it. So we really didn't know what to do for it. This is because it's a very basic song. It lists a lot of things in it. So it would be very hard to pick an idea for the music video. So we decided to look at our list again.

We put this on our list because it seemed like we were getting more luck with ideas on boybands more than individual artist. We thought this would be a good song choice to have because it is about a boy saying that he loved this girl but it's ended and he is unhappy basically. After dsicussing this idea, we just simply decided we didn't want to do it. Also because it was a bit rocky than we wanted. This song is more Rock Pop than just Pop and we just want simple POP.

The song that we thought about doing was; That Girl. The song is about the band being with a girl that is out of they're league and then she gets with someone else. We were thinking of ideas and the only ideas we could think of were from the music video. We wanted our own fresh ideas. We didn't want to copy the complete music video. Also we had already decided on our 'Super Hero' idea and we couldn't incoporate it into this song. We definetly wanted the idea to we were willing to choose another idea. So we had two more song that we were looking at.

With this song, we decided it would be our final music video song choice. We had this decided for about a week. We had a set idea on it aswell. The song is about a girl saying that her boyfriend tells her what to do, what she should wear and she's fed up of it. She's basically saying; Who died and made you king? We had an idea of doing a bit of narrative for the music video but also a lot of sining as well because we want the girl to be singing in it aswell. Although this was going against our original idea of 'Super Heroes' we decided we would be able to achive more with this than the original idea we had. Based on the song not the idea.
After a week of deciding this was our song choice. We changed it again. This is only because we thought of a better song and for that song we had better ideas. The song is; Personal Soldier by The Wanted.

This is the song we have CHOSEN. We looked at this list that we had and thought that this would be the best song to do. This is down to a various number of reasons. One of the reasons we chose it is because it hasn't got a music video yet. It is fresh of The Wanted's album. So we know that we won't be compared to the music video beacuse they're isn't one. So there is a clean slate and we can base it on the song completely and use a range of our own ideas. We chose this song over all of the other because; even though we had small ideas about the other songs. We knew we had a complete plan for this song. We could so the whole story of the music video, the actors we could get and the places. We knew it was all achievable, rather than going for the other songs and not knowing where we were going to shoot it and who we were going to get to act in it. This genre is pop, so we are still keeping to our original idea. With this song we can still keep our original 'Super Hero' idea which we wanted to do when we were looking at Boyband songs. So we are happy with our choice of song.
